How Did K1 Start?
Through Andy’s 20 years career in partnerships which includes ISV start-ups, scale-ups and tier one partner ecosystems such as Microsoft - he had the unique lens and opportunity to engage with hundreds of SaaS and services companies across Apac, Asean, UK, Europe and North America which provided insight into the challenges these companies faced in developing successful partnerships businesses.
Going back to 2014 when cloud was coming on the scene and the economic models were changing, there was a key shift put onto the importance of partnership ecosystem development.

Andy has worked with many CEO’s and revenue leaders and partnerships professionals across global markets, that have been building or modernisation their partnership models, often with limited resources which is why K1 was born. He wanted to provide these companies, with a range of partnership accelerators, advisory services and the ability to be able to expand into international markets by accessing specialist resources, and a trusted network of business partners that could FastTrack growth and expansion.

As the markets have changed with AI and new innovations Andy strongly believes that partnerships will become more important, and if you are a start-up or scale-up you don’t have to go it alone. Partnership provide access to joint resources, the creation of joint value propositions as well as providing credibility when accessing new customers through business partners or gaining access to international markets.
